Learn to cook healthy, nourishing meals in this fun, hands-on Boot Camp! Wellness Chef Alia Dalal will show you how to make tasty, filling and delicious meals quickly from whole food ingredients.
Focusing on simple preparations, this class will get you up to speed on the latest nutritional best practices and get you inspired to make clean eating a consistent pattern in your life. Using vegetables, beans, nuts, seeds, whole grains, fruits and optional animal products, you'll get hands-on experience creating dishes from smoothies, salads, soups, bowl meals, sweet treats and even a healing, anti-inflammatory turmeric beverage.
You'll also get guidance in going off-recipe and learn formulas to make dinner from what you have on hand, while adding interest and texture, and you'll learn 3 clean sauces and dressings you have in your back pocket to spice up any meal. Students will also get individualized or group time with Wellness Chef Alia Dalal. Chef will email students the week before class to be sure to learn about individual requests for techniques, additional recipes or challenges. Class is suitable for vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free folks and omnivores. Class will feature an optional 30 minute animal foods preparation segment.
1-week cancellation policy. Due to the layout of our kitchens and in consideration of your classmates, students will work in groups of 3 to 5 people. Parties of 6 or more will be directed to our private events department so we can accommodate them appropriately.

"Awesome! Had fun and learned a lot. Feel like I'll be eating so much healthier soon! I feel like I now know how to shred chicken, boil a perfect egg, massage kale, make crispy pinto beans and make a dish without a recipe! (That's huge!)"- Kara H.
"I really enjoyed it and learned a lot about designing healthier meals, especially the bowl section! I have always wanted to make my own almond milk and now I know how! Loved the Turmeric Spice Latte also. I like the mixture of hands-on and demonstration that was done in the class. Keep doing what you are doing!"- Patrick M.
"Wow! It was great! Loved learning about black rice. Not so intimated to make lentil soup! Happy I tried turnips! They felt like potatoes--but not as many calories. I would recommend the Boot Camp to any of my friends who want to eat clean and learn clean recipes. I would love to do a part 2 and further expand on our go-to recipes."- Franci F.
"Amazing! Clean eating now feels 100% doable and accessible--not daunting and time consuming. I loved all of it. I loved how hands on it was. I now can go home and make all this myself! And be creative at the same time. Eating clean doesn't mean bland and boring. I feel I can now appropriately season/flavor dishes. I love that chart!!! I would love to do it again with my husband. He'd have so much fun."- Rebekah Z.
"I loved it! I learned many new ideas. I loved learning how to build flavor and the fats. You really gave me valuable information! You are offering a class that no one else is offering!"- Darcy N.
