Active Time: 20 minutes
Start to Finish: 30 minutes

For this recipe you’ll need:

  • 1/4 cup pistachios

  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

  • 2 tablespoons pecans

  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

  • 1 small wheel of brie cheese

  • Your favorite seasonal preserves

  • Crackers or bread

      1. Preheat the oven to 400º.

      2. To prepare the nut crust, place the pistachios, almonds, pecans and sesame seeds in a food processor, and blend until finely chopped. Transfer the nut mixture to a shallow bowl.

      3. Mix the eggs and heavy cream together in a shallow dish. Dip the brie into the egg mixture, and then press it in the nuts to coat all over. Set the brie on a parchment-lined sheet tray.

      4. Bake until the nuts are toasted and the brie is warmed through, about 10 minutes.

      5. Serve with your favorite seasonal preserves, and crackers or bread.
