For this recipe you’ll need:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

2 teaspoons garam masala

1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar
-
2 eggs
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups oats
-
1 cup raisins
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°.
- Measure the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and garam masala in a medium-size bowl and set aside.
- Place the butter, sugar and brown sugar in a large bowl. Using an electric mixer, cream the mixture until light and fluffy, 4 to 5 minutes.
- Blend in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- Add the dry ingredients to the butter-sugar mixture, and mix until just combined.
- Add the oats and raisins, and mix until just blended.
- Using a medium scoop, scoop the batter onto parchment-lined sheet trays and bake until the cookies are pale golden brown around the edges, 8 to 10 minutes.
