This homemade hummus is so easy, you'll wonder why you ever bought the store-bought version.
Yield: 2 cups
Active Time: 15 minutes
Start to Finish: 1 hour
For this recipe you’ll need:
Place all of the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor.
Puree until well blended, adding water as needed to make the hummus silky and smooth.
Garnish by making a well in the middle of the hummus and filling the indentation with olive oil. Sprinkle the top with smoky paprika and serve with Pita Chips.
Note:
To roast garlic, slice the top off a whole head of garlic to expose the cloves. Place it in a small ovenproof dish, drizzle with olive oil and cover with foil. Bake at 350º for 40 to 50 minutes, until the cloves are soft and a light golden color.
