Shrimp and Ginger Wonton Soup

 

Forget take out! You can easily whip up classic Wonton Soup at home.

For this recipe you’ll need:

  • 6 cups chicken stock 

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar

  • Shrimp and Ginger Wontons

  • 1 bunch watercress, cleaned, large stems removed

  • Salt to taste

    1. Heat the stock until it just comes to a boil.

    2. Reduce heat to a simmer and add the soy sauce, vinegar and Shrimp and Ginger Wontons. Cook until the wontons are firm, 5 to 7 minutes (slightly longer if wontons are frozen).

    3. Add the watercress, salt to taste and serve.
