Sweet and Salty Pecans 

These nuts are a great addition to any salad or just on their own as a snack

For this recipe you’ll need:

  • 1 cup pecans
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons honey
    1. Preheat the oven to 350°.

    2. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the nuts and boil for 30 seconds. Drain and transfer to a small bowl.

    3. Toss the blanched nuts with the sugar, salt, pepper, cinnamon and honey. Mix well and transfer to a parchment-lined sheet tray.

    4. Bake, stirring occasionally, until the nuts are golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes.

    5. Allow to cool completely before serving.
