Cathy is a native Chicagoan who's love of cooking stems from a childhood of too many meatless Fridays with Tuna Noodle Casserole and Salmon Patties. She knew there had to be a better way, so she embarked on a journey to learn new techniques and food products, a practice she continues to this day. Along the way she's taken classes at CLC's culinary school, catered events, and worked in food adjacent industries. She loves to see the delight in someone's eyes when they succeed at a new knife skill or cooking technique, and often shares the kind of tips and tricks that "yer gramma" used to give.
